ZGE Visualizer And MOV Files

Hi there.

I am currently working on a rather complex project involving an animation I created in Blender with the intent to use it in a music visualizer. Everything was working fine until I had the clever idea that I wanted to add the ZGE Vis FogMachine effect behind the main object — I'll just say it, my animation is two paws stomping to the tempo of the song, just getting that out of the way so that this explanation can be easier. I wanted to add the FogMachine effect behind the paws but in front of the background because I didn't like how much the fog obscured the paws but turning down the fog makes it barely noticeable. Seems like an ambitious idea, I know.

Well, anyway, I did it. It was actually easier than it sounds. In Blender, I exported just the background as an image and the animated paws as a transparent video with no background. For all intents and purposes, everything should be working correctly. Using a rather complicated video setup in ZGE Vis, I have the background image layered behind the FogMachine effect behind the Buffer Output layer (so that I could color grade it a bit (and it's a HUD Image effect)) and it's all set up correctly. The problem is now that the paw animation with its transparency does not want to play smoothly, it plays back extremely choppy.

Now for the details. The paw animation was exported from Blender as such:
File Format - FFmpeg Video RBGA (which, after everything, ends up being a MOV file)
Encoding Container - QuickTime
Video Codec - "QT rle / QT Animation" (I also tried PNG and H.264 codecs)
Encoding Speed - (I tried "Slowest", "Good", and "Realtime")

I am using the latest versions of Blender and FL Studio as of 10 May, 2024. I'm using a Windows 10 PC with the following specs:
CPU Vendor: GenuineIntel
CPU Brand: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600K
Speed: 3686 MHz (slightly overclocking, because Blender)
16 logical processors
10 physical processors
[Video Card] Driver: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Primary VRAM: 8191 MB

TL;DR: I am trying to use a MOV video let's say as an overlay to the rest of the video in ZGE Visualizer. The transparency is working correctly but the video is extremely choppy. Does ZGE Vis properly support using transparent videos within the video editor and are there any specific settings I could be changing within it (or outside of it) so that it plays correctly?

*Notes:
- I use VLC Player and the MOV files also have the same plus weirder issues within that program with these MOV files.
- It's not an issue with the animation itself. Before attempting this superfluous idea, the original Blender animation was an AVI file that worked fine but the filesize was big, so I compressed it using the program HandBrake and converted it into an MP4 file which, unsurprisingly worked just fine as well. It was only when I had this idea to add transparency that it became a problem.
- I've grown out of using the basic Image effect and now always use the HUD Image effect, which again works fine with other video formats, as well as image formats that have transparency to them.
