I really would like the "Shift" tab in the step editor to be bipolar, so notes can be be shifted forwards and backwards. I usually like the shift notes forward a bit and having to draw them on a totally different step and than delay them a lot in the shift tab is really unpractical.
I'd suggest this to be an option that can be turned on in the preferences, so there's no problem with backward compatibility.
