Recording Monitoring on Mixer Input EXT

Hi there,

When I'm ready to record, I'm on the mixer and I select input 1 to record guitar.

Immediately I start getting feedback.

The reason for this is because the track is automatically armed and under EXT - 'monitor external input' is set to "When armed".

My question is: How does one make 'monitor external input' not automatically set to 'when armed'?

I'd like to manually set it every time.

The reason I want this is because when I get to the computer my monitors are on and at any time I want to record ideas from the guitar,

But if I hear feedback it's really loud and unexpected.

So just to re-iterate I'm wanting to know how to automatically have 'monitor external input set to 'off' for every new session I open.

If this does not yet exist, please let me know and I will post this as an innovation on to do, otherwise if it's still in the pipeline, please let me know as well.
