This is a Beta test version and it is not an official release. Betas have more bugs, are more likely to crash and may include unfinished features. If you use a Beta for mission critical work, you do so at your own risk! This will install in parallel to the official release version and will not overwrite any critical files if you use the default installation settings.

KEY NEW FEATURES IN BETA 6
- Introducing FL Cloud - Plugins ...
We've expanded FL Cloud to include VST plugins, in all tiers (free and paid).
FL Cloud will now offer a highly curated and growing range of VST plugins from 3rd party and Image-Line Group companies. This will simplify installation and management of these plugins via the FL Cloud Plugin Manager application installed with FL Studio 2024.
We, of course, continue to design and build new FL Studio plugins which go directly into FL Studio Editions as part of Lifetime Free Updates, independent of FL Cloud - Kepler Exo and Spreader being some recent examples with the upcoming release.
The FL Cloud Plugin Manager can be accessed in three ways:
- Tools Menu > FL Cloud > Plugins
- 'Open FL Cloud Plugins' in the favorite plugin menus.
- Directly from the Applications folder (macOS) or Program Files > FL Cloud Plugins (Windows)
What happens to projects when a subscription plugin expires?
While the plugins listed below will work perpetually and won't expire as part of FL Clouds Free tier, the subscription-tier plugins we will add later will. So what happens then?
We believe projects you create using FL Cloud should remain accessible and functional. That’s why we’ve created a post-subscription access system, so you will be able to edit and render projects using plugins that have expired on your FL Cloud account for a set number of times. When you open an expired plugin you will have the option to re-unlock fully for a limited free time to gain access for rendering / editing projects or to restart the plan that includes the plugin.
Free Plugins included with this Beta:
- Stepsequencer - Per Channel option (and macros) to truncate swing notes. (Right-Click) the Swing knob on the Miscellaneous Channel Settings.
- Chord Progression tool - Added a button to set the octave. Custom scales are now supported. Notes for selected chords now appear selected in the Piano roll.
- Playlist - Added a 'Select in playlist' button to the Automation Clip Editor.
- Piano roll - Note repeat accessed from the Event Editor.
- Stepsequencer - Note repeat accessed from the Graph Editor.
- Settings - Support option to purge the FL Cloud Sounds cache.
