Glissando. How?

Just as Vangelis did it on the Yamaha something, I wonder how can I do the same in FLS with any given instrument.

What is glissando? A slide from one note to the other but in steps and in key. I haven't figured it out. Can anyone tell or show how to do a glissando in any given key?
