MIDI note offs not being recorded

Hi folks,

I have an Akai MPK Mini 25-key MIDI keyboard that worked perfectly when I first installed FL Studio. However, something got changed somewhere and now when I record MIDI using the keyboard, it doesn't record any note durations or note offs. The notes ons get recorded and when I play back the recording, the notes are infinitely sustained until the sound from the selected MIDI instrument fades.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling FL Studio and resetting my keyboard to factory settings.

I tried the keyboard on a friend's computer who also has FL and the issue didn't happen there.

If anyone has any insight into this or any suggestions for other things I might try, I'd be most grateful.
