Past, present and future of FL Studio. Is it still superior in something? No Beatmaking king anymore!

hi guys, yes i of course wanted to make a topic a long time like this and of course be provocative. but at the same time im concerned (nah i think IL is doing better than ever? having UVI, Melda etc. + all the Artist promoters and collabs with various hardware brands!) about what exactly is FL Studio still king or good for itself.

e.g. in the past FL Studio was superior?!?! as a beat making, loop machine.
what is important, quick patterns, various pattern possibilites, a sampler etc.
also FL Studio has a lot of modular stuff itself + the SUPERIOR PIANO ROLL!!!

Sampler:
it is just embarassing nowadays to use the FL Sampler.... i mean, checking Logic, Ableton and many more I get so many options, i get also warping and other stuff. the FL Sampler didnt progress since years? so FL Studios' strength being a beat making DAW king is long done with such a sampler. give me the warping, the granular stuff, the better slicer and more.

Mods:
as in another topic it is crazy how many windows and still not sorted windowmanagement isnt introduced at any time. giving you maybe better possibilities with inhouse MODs, yes Cubase did it now and wow, awesome.

Piano Roll:
yes it still is the best and feels so fluid, working in Ableton it feels so unfluid and in other DAWs too, i dunno why, i dunno why other DAWs cannot make it so fluid and fast like in FL Studio but wait! you can have many MIDI options e.g. in Ableton, checkout a lot of midi play it gives you now. again with this speed i wonder if FL Studio can hold up?

Mixer:
i know it is worked on, still it is a lot of times still cumbersome and limited what we still got....

i could list some more stuff like MPE etc.

so what is FL Studio still dominating in DAW sector?

with the speed of other DAWs getting more and more fleshed out and much smarter implemented i wonder what is FL Studio's identity? it sure is lacking as a beatmaking DAW nowadays and others already sped up.
still think there is a lot of ground to freshen up and modernize what other DAWs have for a long time and can build on that. FL Studio has new additions but still feels like it is not holding up anymore against the others well. oh performance is also a big letdown more and more sadly.(sandboxing hm hm).

yes FL Studio has lifetime free updates, big thanks, but im thinking is this worth it to lack a lot of above mentioned features and more?

this is no bashing against IL, i love the communication, the response, i love the DAW!!!! i also always reach out for it first. sure i evolved too with music production and maybe this is the point, i take more and more other DAWs in some regards as they are feeling more fleshed out and with easier possibilities to automate, modulate etc. for SIMPLER things FL Studio is here but if it gets complicated why should i spend hours more time?

im a FL Studio user since first hour, hopefully all future updates will strike back (ghost notes finally! yeah but please not half hearted implementations anymore...)
