Akai Fire restarts whenever I press the 'NOTE'-button

Hi there

My Akai Fire works fine besides from the one fact that when I press the 'NOTE'-button it restarts, i.e. it runs its little light show and Akai Professional shows up on the display. After that all the buttons light up and it's not functional in FL Studio.

If I hold in 'SHIFT' and press 'NOTE' (or then 'SNAP') nothing happens.

Anyone got any ideas on how to solve this?
