Question regarding LP3 and its modulation

The manual implies that LP3 can modulate DRIVE within one of the envelope parameters in Love Philter. I want to confirm if that is the intended behavior because I tried to modulate some noise in the input envelope follower for the LOW envelope, but nothing is modulating.
