For several years I have been reporting various bugs that I have encountered when using DirectWave, I don't know why they have not been solved until now, in this post I will demonstrate the easiest bugs to find, the rest are random and it is very difficult to demonstrate them but that does not mean that they do not exist, more details here: viewtopic.php?t=331398
Drag and drop does not work with supported formats
When I drag and drop Kontakt instruments that are not encrypted, the program does nothing. In the case of Soundfonts, it loads with errors and in the case of SFZ, it also loads with errors or does not load at all.
About writing samples
When instruments are imported with samples that have very long names, the program arbitrarily cuts the name and when the instrument is exported in multisample it overwrites the samples, when it is exported in monolithic all the samples that make up the instrument are respected but in both cases all the samples have the same name.
Full SFZ Format Support
In the case of the SFZ format, DirectWave does not support instrument layers, which causes the volumes of SFZ instruments with multiple layers to not be respected.
I hope that in this case they can solve these problems, in the demonstration I used sforzando to load the sfz instruments however the control that I would have with DirectWave of the instruments would be more precise especially the ADSR and the effects, I consider that Directwave is a great alternative to software like NI Kontakt but it has to be given priority, people hardly use it because they don't know what it's for in many cases and in others it doesn't convince them due to the lack of native instruments and functions, in addition this work demands a lot of time and not everyone can be requesting changes or additions
