Request for Professional Film Scoring Features in FL Studio

Dear Image-Line Team,

I’ve been using FL Studio for a long time, and I truly appreciate its intuitive workflow, powerful piano roll, and lifetime updates. However, as a film composer, I’ve noticed that FL Studio lacks many essential features for professional film scoring, orchestration, and post-production.

I would love to see FL Studio evolve into a more film composer-friendly DAW, and I request the addition of the following key features:

. Advanced Video Synchronization & Film Scoring Tools
True Video Track with Frame-Accurate Sync (Similar to Cubase, Logic Pro)
-SMPTE Timecode Support for proper alignment with video
Multiple Video Marker Support  for scene changes
-Dedicated Film Cue Markers for easier composition

2. Improved MIDI & Orchestration Workflow
Score Editor (Sheet Music View)for orchestral arrangements
Expression Maps & Keyswitching Support(For better control over orchestral libraries)
Multi-Channel MIDI Routing per Track (For better instrument layering)
Conductor Track for Tempo Changes (For dynamic tempo changes in film scenes)

3. Enhanced Live Recording & Audio Editing
Better Audio Comping Tools (Select the best takes easily)
Non-Destructive Clip Editing(For better workflow)
Automatic Tempo Detection for Live Recordings
ADR & Dialogue Processing Tools(For film post-production)

4. Professional Surround Sound & Dolby Atmos Support
5.1 & 7.1 Surround Sound Mixing
Dolby Atmos & Ambisonic Audio Support
-Multi-Output Bus Routing for Surround Sound

5. Improved Collaboration & File Compatibility
-
OMF & AAF File Export(To work with other DAWs like Pro Tools)
-Session File Compatibility with Industry Standards

I understand that FL Studio is primarily designed for electronic music, but adding these features would open the door for film composers who love FL Studio’s workflow but struggle with its limitations in professional scoring.

I appreciate all the hard work you put into FL Studio, and I hope you consider implementing these features in future updates. Thank you!

Best regards,
[FENIX]
