Currently you would "patcherize" the channel but adding an existing channel into an already existing patcher different issue. Not all things can currently be patcherized including "sampler" however this 2025 allowed granulizer and slicex to be patcherizable.Hopefully sampler itself will be added to the list and all the other plugins that are part of fl studios engine rather than full fl studio native plugins. To add a plugin to patcher you can save its state and open that plugin by right clicking add new plugin then load the state.
However, it makes sense that right click save preset as has the drag and drop feature that mixer states have but for channels in channel rack, and that those channel states are able to be drag and dropped into either a channel patcher (instrument) or mixer track pactcher. Likewise it might also make sense to allow this same capability as a playlist instrument / patch playlist patch much the same as a playlist instrument track.
It seems this would just be simplifying the need to save presets and open those instances within the patcher manually.
Additionally it would be of great use to auto generate the assigned routing patch as an option so dragging the channel into patcher would also have an option to also drag the entire channel routing and reinstantiate all routing within patcher so that all linked mixer effects are also loaded into patcher intact.
Ability to drag channels into patcher like other state drag and drops in channel rack and mixer
