Why does FL Studio assign C3 to C5 in the piano roll?

Hey all,

Just wondering why FL Studio labels C5 as middle C (C3) in the piano roll by default? I understand that I can change the root note in the plugin wrapper settings, but is there a way to make this change permanent so every plugin loads with that setting by default?

P.S. Is there a way to save plugin defaults—for example, setting an EQ to always load with a high-pass on band 1 and a high shelf on band 6?

Thanks!
