My project is set to 120 BPM, and I'm working with a fast palm-muted electric guitar audio clip consisting of 16th notes.
When I adjust the clip in NewTime, it sounds perfectly fine—every note is clean and distinct. However, after dragging it into the playlist, the audio quality drops significantly. A few bars later, the transients almost completely disappear, and all the notes start smearing together into a muddy mess.
I double-checked the playback in NewTime, and it still sounds clean there, so the issue only happens after exporting or moving the clip to the playlist.
Is there a setting that affects NewTime's output quality when committing to the playlist? Or any known issue related to this behavior?
