So I have not 100% determined this as being caused by the fl studio installer but it is suspected as being linked - essentially there may have been an installer thread leak. I had something like 3300 or so threads active in the installer service - this is the first time I have noticed this but I think the thread leak was somehow interfering with my mouse terminating the installer service removed the threads. I think maybe the installer didn't terminate properly for some reason - possibly due to not being given internet access during installation. I'm not sure if there is any reason why the installer would attempt to connect to the internet or if each of those processes was a file that was installed. I don't currently have another reason for the thread leak but with black friday a lot more plugins than normal are being installed - however when installing the beta I vaguely recall a couple fl studio processes processes seeking internet access. I'm only mentioning this because I currently think it could have been caused by the fl studio installer. I'm not sure if anything could keep the installation processes live - I am thinking it may be linked to using glasswire so probably security related to glasswire and fl studio perhaps.
I have not repeated this it could be for all installers not just the fl studio process perhaps linked to some windows services also being blocked like WMIsrvPE.
I am guessing it has something to do with installations, perhaps glasswire and windows 11 and FL Studio was just the first thing I noticed this with.
Also I am guessing it is normal for fl studio to skip files in the installation path unless they are somehow not the same file size / date or somethign but I noticed a lot of the files skipped installation while the new ones for the new version of plugins native ones with updates installed. I am guessing that was expected.
I am guessing this is a me issue with I am guessing system security blocking or preventing WMIsrvPE from terminating windows installer service and it probably doesn't relate to fl studio being in anyway irregular.
In event anyone else is having minor mouse glitches due to high thread counts related to the installer perhaps it is more than just on my system. I havn't figure out if it was an isolated situation but I will see if it returns on the next beta installer.
25.2.99 5087 - possible minor bug with installer BUT probably just a local system configuration issue
