Actually useful improvements that we need ASAP

The biggest issue in FL Studio is the routing system, especially its complexity, lack of clarity, and the fragile nature of send and sidechain connections. Routing and bussing are so complicated that even small adjustments can break existing connections and turn the entire project into a frustrating mess.

Another major problem is the sidechain workflow itself. Creating, maintaining, and checking sidechain connections is unnecessarily complicated and confusing, connections disappear easily, and the whole system is so hidden in the interface that working with it becomes a chore.

The behavior of automation clips also needs improvement. When an automation clip is deleted, it should be fully removed from the project instead of leaving behind ghost entries or unnecessary leftovers in the background.

FL Studio could also benefit from cleaning up some unnecessary or outdated plugins, as many of them take up space without offering real value in modern production workflows. Plugins like “BooBass” are good examples of tools that could be reworked or removed entirely.

I hope future FL Studio updates focus on practical, workflow-oriented improvements instead of AI features, making the software smoother, more logical, and more enjoyable to use.
