Minimalist Soothing Soundtrack - what should that mean? I imagine something with only a few elements, not too complex, playing softly, maybe a bit emotional, but certainly not fast paced. There are other minimal genres, but those are danceable. A soundtrack IMHO should not be. It should be something that could play in the background. Game music sometimes fulfills this. Actually it was YouTube's algorithm recommending me World of Warcraft Music & Ambiance videos that gave me this idea (depending on how addicted you were it might or might not be a good idea to check them out now).
Straight to the rules:
- Create a soundtrack made from only a few elements. Imagine five dudes/dudettes at max each playing one instrument. Synths, sound boards and drum machines count as instruments too. You won't be disqualified if you obviously can't count to five or if one of them plays a whole string ensemble. The track should feel slow paced. I hope you get the spirit.
- Track length should be approx. 1 to 4 minutes.
- Upload an .mp3 file clearly named, i.e. <artist> - <title>.mp3
- Deadline is Tuesday, January 27 2026, 24:00 CET
