I’ve been using FL Studio for over 15 years now, and it has been my primary DAW throughout my career. First of all, thank you for continuously improving the software and listening closely to user feedback over the years.
One feature I’ve always wished FL Studio had is per-clip EQ processing, similar to how Pro Tools allows EQ settings directly on individual audio clips. To give a practical example: when editing vocals, it’s very common to cut a take into many small clips. Often, only specific clips have harsh resonances, plosives, or unwanted frequencies that need correction. In Pro Tools, you can apply an EQ preset or fine-tune frequencies directly on that individual clip without affecting the rest of the audio or resorting to automation.
A native clip-based EQ (or clip FX slot) would greatly streamline detailed vocal editing, sound design, and dialogue work - allowing quick, surgical fixes without cluttering the mixer or automation lanes.
I believe this would be a powerful addition for advanced editing workflows and would complement FL Studio’s existing strengths very well.
Would love if you guys could add something like this, Thanks!
