channel assigning issue, LATEST UPDATE (v25.2.3 (build 4889) MacOS)

I have a project preset that sets a number of tracks to a MIXBUS. We'll call "green" the tracks assigned to the mixbus to not confuse you with the free ones assigned to the master channel.

With the latest update, when I assign a track to a vst/sample it, instead of assigning it to one of the green ones, it reads the green tracks as "Used" or "not free" assigning the vst/sample to a free one channeled to the master. Is there a way to avoid this as it's pretty inconvenient for me to take extra steps now to reassign the track to a mixbus channel? (I work with a big number of samples or stems so it takes me double the time now by assigning by hand every sample, the preset was created to avoid these steps).

My adhd and fast pacing needs help guys.
