I have this error message on the Midi settings menu & can't use my MIDI keyboard (AKAI MPK249) while it was perfectly working a few days ago.
"The MIDI input device couldn't be opened. It may be in use by another application."

I did contact IMAGE LINE technical support but they just sent me the user manual & links to this forum.
I have a desktop & a laptop & my MIDI keyboard is working well on the desktop, the issue is only on my laptop but i need it to work to travel soon.
I spent hours trying everything i can such as :
- uninstalling USB drivers
- reset my MIDI keyboard settings to factory settings
- reboot my laptop
- Block MIDI Access:
"Enable the option Do not allow any sites to use system exclusive messages to access MIDI devices."
but still have the same message.
If someone ever had this same issue & can help me i would be grateful.
