I suggest adding the possibility to switch the panning knob in the mixer to "stereo pan". I believe the standard panning knob behaves as a balance control at the moment and I hate when I have to add a plugin in the chain to be able to do true stereo panning.

You got it reversed, the current mixer is doing...
