Default declicking mode

Is it possible to change the default declicking mode?
I make a lot of recordings and comping work, and I would like to make sure that there are no clicks, so I literally always use the Generic declicking mode.
Over and over again I select clips in the Panel Picker and use the "Change declicking for selected channels to" macro. The macro is a huge time saver but this step could be eliminated if I could set the default declicking mode to Generic.
