Thank you so much! I'll definitely take a look at the github you sentDigitallyGray wrote: ↑Sat Feb 07, 2026 10:38 pmIf you haven't, I'd highly recommend following this: https://github.com/torbuntu/fl-studio-linux-setup/
It helped make FL under wine in bottles go from barely useable to damn near flawless. I use kron4ek-wine-11.0-amd64 as my runner and fl cloud stuff seems to work, though personally I barely use it.
If you have any issues there is the mega-thread. Ask any questions or help with any issues in here: viewtopic.php?p=2030187
IL has stated that they have no current (pubic) plans for a Linux port, they said they are waiting for 10% market share. And asking them to ensure wine comparability would be a tall order for little return, so I doubt they'd do that. The bright side is that if something does end up breaking the community will find a way to fix it again given enough time.
I have seen a whole lot more support for Linux here on the form compared to even going back year ago, though it could be my own observation bias since I too want a Linux port. So who knows.
Maybe one day we can see that dreams do come true.
Hope this helped, even if only a little.![]()
I'm currently running Gentoo linux so I'll have some work cut out for me adapting that guide for my setup XD
Currently I run FL Studio in a Windows 11 VM, but I really dislike that as QEMU doesn't have the best support for high-res / high-refreshrate displays yet.
