Midi controler in performance mode

Hello,
I'm new to FL Studio and I see that performance mode works with my old Launchpad S but not my PRO MK3. Is that normal ?

Also, I'd like to be able to switch the performance blocks with a MIDI foot controller or another controller like Luminite, and I saw that the blocks trigger at C5, but this doesn't work with an external MIDI keyboard or my other controllers.
Is there any documentation on this please ?
I consulted the documentation for performance mode, but I can't figure out how to switch the sounds on and off via Midi.
