There's a post from KVR entitled "Dj Quicksilver Free awesome lead" (not sure if we're allowed to link to other forums?) where a guy recreates the synth in Synth1, but it just doesn't smack me in the ears with that light bulb eureka "ahhhhhhhhh yeh that's the one" feeling. If that makes sense.
It starts about 3 seconds in and is repeated a bunch of times, and then at 30 seconds in the breakdown it sounds like the same synth but an octave higher.....
Also sounds the same as the one in Nikolai - Ready To Flow, bout 21 seconds in. Not sure if this helps or muddies the waters.
Sounds really basic - like just an oscillator and some noise, so not sure it fits the "epic" part of this forum. But my skills just aren't there and I can't get it right. I feel like there's too many other parameters I'd be sat here twiddling knobs for days. Plus I'm starting to get sick of the sound now, I need a break from it
I'd been trying in Sylenth, but then thought it must be doable with stock FL synths......
