I took an extended break from making music.
Now dusted off my midi controllers, updated fl studio to v26.1.2 and some things aren`t working on my akai fire.
I`d like to know if it is defective hardware or a software problem. Maybe someone can confirm similar issues:
Visualizer on the fire pads (hold ALT and rotate FILTER knob):
"Spectogram" is not working
"Peaks left" and "Peaks right" working normally
Performance Mode:
Pattern clips that are set to "One Shot" playing twice in a row when triggered. (fl studio seems to react to "Note On" AND "Note off" Signal)
If i keep pressing the pad for ever the clip plays only once as it shoud.
Using the knobs (link to controller):
e.g. setting up some cutoff parameter in Harmless to a knob in USER1 leads to inverted behaviour of the same knob at USER2
I had to assign some unused slider to that knob in USER2 to get rid of the problem.
I cannot remember of so many glitches 2 years ago..
Someone still using the fire? Maybe not^^
