So, what exactly is Fruity Nest?
Fruity Nest is a desktop app that interacts with the FL Studio API but long story short
Here’s a quick look at what’s already there:
Free Access (Forever)
• Plugin Manager + Tag Manager – Keep your plugins organised, searchable, and always within reach.
• script manager - will be available soon, you will like it.
• Any Hotkey Changer – Change any FL Studio hotkey to fit your workflow.
• FLP Reader – Analyse your projects and identify missing files.
• Project Universe – Explore your project's contents and entire routing structure in one place.
Pro access with multiple options 14 days Trial Included.
• Enhanced Playlist Navigation – Navigate your Playlist more efficiently with features like A/B snapshots and more.
• Preset Manager – Save and restore instruments, including their processing chains and automatic recreation of Mixer routing. Build and customise smart search to fit your workflow.
• Advanced Instrument Presets – Basically, Project Bones on steroids. Save instruments in an already assembled state and restore them in just a couple of clicks. A great way to save entire chains from one project and reuse them in another.
• Mixer Tools – Clean up messy projects and mixers by creating grouped stem tracks with a single click, featuring smart rerouting for selected instruments.
How to Get Pro Access
Choose the option that works best for you:
• One-time payment
• An unique rent to buy system.
Some of us need certain features more than others. For example, change any Hotkey we want to a custom.
I’ve already gotten used to pressing Q in the Playlist to open the UI of the instrument for the pattern I clicked on, and W to open the Mixer on the channel that pattern is routed to.
So basically: 1 — click on a pattern, 2 — press W, and I immediately see the Mixer channel connected to that pattern, and so on.
What I’m getting at is that I want to make this project versatile enough to cover different kinds of needs.
And a special thanks to the FL Studio team for creating such an incredible product (FL Studio).
I’ve tried switching to other DAWs — REAPER, Cubase — but for some reason, FL Studio is still where I can fully unlock my creative potential.
