The biggest pain point with FL Studio for me is modulation. The most intuitive way I've found to modulate Fruity and third-party instruments and create subtle variations is to route them through Fruity Peak Controller and assign a formula. This feels unnecessarily complicated compared with how modulation is handled in most modern DAWs. The Peak Controller also has issues like the LFO constantly affecting the base setting of a particular knob and, from my understanding, is also only unipolar. Setting up basic modulation requires writing formulas converting LFO rate between steps and bars.
My request is to either modernize Fruity Peak Controller and the assignment process to make it more intuitive, or introduce a new plugin that provides this functionality.
