Why no crossfade / volume ramping on loop points?

There's no way to declick the loop points other than setting them at zero crossings, which makes the prospect of automating them a little silly.

Come on, let's get some adjustable on-the-fly volume ramping or crossfade for those loop points. I do want to automate them.
