A n00b's question

Alright, let me begin by saying that I'm primarily a guitar player, and I'm a complete n00b in FL and also as a keyboard player. I've been using a cousin's Novation controller to work with FL, but I'll be buying my own in about a week. My question is that, is there any way to convert the channels/channel layers in FL into sound samples that you load into a workstation keyboard or sound module?
