Pattern continuing an extra measure...?

Sometimes when I'm working in FL studio, a pattern is continuing an extra measure after all the notes have cut off. There is a measure of silence before the pattern begins to repeat itself again.
I notice that when I CTRL+A an instrument, the red bar at the top of the piano roll (over the measure numbers) continues slightly past the wanted amount of measures.

Does anyone know how to fix this??
