That's my big fear.
I've owned FL for about 48 hours now, and my big hopes are to record my guitar on it.
I watched the How to Record Guitar tutorial on FL and tooled around the 'net for instructions on how to do this, and I still have a few concerns.
Can I simply take my Line 6 Spider III Line Out jack, convert the outgoing 1/4 in. guitar cord plug to an 1/8th inch plug with an adapter, and then plug that into the Line In jack on the side of my laptop.
I am using an ASIOforAll driver, and am just using a Dell Laptop with no bells or whistle for the soundcard.
I cringe that will fry something if I try this...
If anyone can give some advice, links, etc. on ways to record electric guitar, I'd be grateful!
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Fry my CPU with melting guitar licks and crushing riffs...
