USB Audio interfaces - better than ASIO4All??

I record guitar thru ASIO4all into my 1/8" jack. I'm not thrilled with the sound that gets recorded even though I like the sound coming through my amp.

Would a USB audio interface, such as the M-Audio Fast Track Pro ($200) help make sure that i got better signal integrity (sound) into my recordings. I DOUBT i'll record two instruments at once, so the 4 input at once capability seems lost on me, but I sure wanna make sure I get the phattest crushing sounds out of my electric guitar.
