Sound clipping - how to avoid?

Hey

I usually add a new Sampler-channel and then load a KICK wavefile to it
and build up my song like this:

K _ _ _ | K _ _ _ | K _ _ _ | K _ _ _


But if I do like this (see below) the KICK-sound gets all messed up.
So how do I avoid this clipping sounds?

K _ _ _ | K _ _ _ | K _ K _ K _ | KKKKKKKK

Adjust the volume envelope in your samplers set...
