Pattern stacks

My playlist is usually littered with lots of muted variations of patterns that can be interchanged depending on how the track is developing.

It would be nifty to be able to group pattern clips into stacks.
- All patterns share the same clip window, clip doesn't change size when changing patterns regardless of length. This way the stack doesn't need to remember the window size for each pattern in the event the user has shortened/lengthened the clip.
- Pattern stacks can be sliced, but only the left most clip maintains the stack. Off cuts are instantiated into individual pattern clips.
- The active pattern can either be selected via the clip menu, or ctrl-alt-left clicking the pattern name will reveal a dropdown.
- Non-active clips remain automatically muted.

I'd use the "Select Source" option in the clip menu, but this feature becomes very cumbersome on large projects. Being able to select at least 2 pattern clips and tap a hotkey to merge clips into a stack clip would be a lot like having "Select Source" groups i guess.
