Looking for Double bass samples

Hi.

I'm after some good double bass samples and also some advice on players like Kontakt, yellow tools, the Fruity sound font player, direct wave etc.

What I want is a player like these that has good banks of instruments that are well recorded, preferably something that is likely to play different sample for every note and varying velocity. I have Independence free, which has a good quality sounds, but no where near enough instruments, the extra instrument packs cost a bomb!!!

Can anyone give me some advice, I don't know much about these kinds of players, can direct wave do this (different samples at different velocities) and does it have any Double bass presets available to download?
