Hi,
I've used a lot Fruity Slicer. I can timestretch the sample to fit it in my loops/song smootly.
When I opened first time SliceX, I was thinking that it would be an advanced Fruity Slicer. It could do anything that fruity slicer do also, and more... Ok, this was rigth: more filters, envelopes, options, multiout, edison features... etc and a superb timestretch/PS.
But, wait...
- Yesterday I was working in a song, and I want add a new loop in SliceX. I timestretched/PSed it several times. But there was something I didn't like (well, I HATE IT)... I cannot undo the timestretch (I have to reload the sample, and do ALL again).
- In Fruity Slicer I can move the TS and ajust it without have to start from the unmodified sample, from zero. If I have a mistake, I only have to move a lite TS control.
I didn't see anything similar in SliceX. The best thing of Fruity Slicer has been forgoted. Please, do the time stretch of SliceX that work in absolute values (if I do a TS with Pitch coarse of -6 sliceX will do it, but if I did it again nothing changes, and If I put it in +0 the sample returns to this default 'Pitch coarse'). Or if this option it's imposible because it's the same well-spent engine of Edison, please do anothers parallels controls in SliceX for do the same that with TS and PS sliders of Fruity Slicer.
