3GB Ram vista?

Hi,I am running vista business 32bit on my laptop with 3gb ram.In task manager it shows that I have 3b ram,but fl only see's 2gb even when I run the 3gb version of fl.I have found explanations of how to sort this out in xp,but I was under the impresion that in vista you didnt need to make any tweaks.Can anybody help me with this please as it would be great to use my full 3gb when mixing and recording/overdubbing.
