Hey, pretty much brand new to this whole thing (I do have some basic programming knowledge), but I decided I wanted to try making something fairly simple, starting with a frequency splitter. Basically all I need is a simple lowpass filter... and I was rather surprised to find that with that I've already hit a brick wall.
I tried using the included "biquad filter" module, but I can't get anything out of it beyond a big DC offset. I even tried using a DC offset remover assembly script that Nucleon posted somewhere but that did nothing. Next I found a pack of filter modules somebody posted in the forums once upon a time (sorry no link ATM), but they all seem to be quirky filters with resonances and such.
To be perfectly clear, I'm just looking for a simple lowpass filter, with no resonances or funny shapes, just a simple 12 or 24db-per-octave lowpass rolloff with an adjustable frequency. Again this is for a frequency splitter, so you can probably figure it out.
If anyone knows where I could get such a module that would be greatly appreciated! I have no idea how to code a filter and I have no desire to even go there.
A simple lowpass filter: How? Where?
