Talkin about Slicex...

Hi to you all,

I hope i've reach the right place....

After FL Studio7, i'm using the new FL Studio 8 Producer... Simply awesome... I think i've found my software: FL Studio 8 & the "old" good Cubase SE 3 to do my things.

I'm studying on-line help to understand full potential about new Edison functions and Slicex. With Slicex, i'm a little confusing... I'm asking you patience and help.

Why two decks to load samples (...and how to use them) ?

If i load one sample on a deck, i see in Piano Roll all the slices arranged; so, i can choose what slice to play and what not, but how to use the second deck and why ?

Can i simply load the slices i want onto a single sampler channel ? It's possible to look at Slicex as an "audio quantizer" ?
