Drag and Drop not working in FL 12

Guys, I need help.

My drag and drop function has stopped working in FL 12. Meaning I can't drag and drop audio from Edison to my playlist, nor can I drag effects VST save states to another mixer track. When I attempt to do this, FL studio gives me a "prohibited" cursor symbol (the circle with a diagonal line through it). I don't get it. I just started doing this last week and is making production tricky.

What can I do and has anyone had/solved this problem?

I'm open to suggestions.
