If Fl Studio had an option for mono tracks, I could save considerable resources by running my mics (which of course are mono) through mono tracks. Needing to always use stereo tracks for mono sources is taxing on available memory when multi-track recording for extended periods, especially when using a number of mics, for recording drums say, or live sets.

You know that's a complex solution to a simple problem. All FL Studio needs to do is to save/record mono sources as mono audio files. Problem solved.
