Wave Form Frequency of WAV file not showing in Edison/FL STUDIO

Im working on a an instrumental and there is one WAV file that is giving me issues. I made some adjustments and sound design edits to the WAV file and the recorded this into Edison. Edison records the sound perfectly, and when I play it back it is exactly as I had edited the sound. The problem I am having is that Edison does not show me any of the wave form frequencies. All I see is a straight line as if there is no sound there. I tried exporting the sound as a wav file, but when I load it into FL Studio it still does not show the wave form, not even on the channel settings box when I click on the channel.

This is frustrating because I need to be able to see the wave form to make some additional edits to remove popping noises.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?
