My (copy)rights as the original composer

Hello there! I intend to publish my first song in the web soon (SoundCloud and YouTube).

I first write my original sheet music as notes in a MIDI file, then I import the to FL Studio and fine tune it as the final song, especially using Sakura. I prefer not to sample anyone else's songs for my own, but I aim to make my music from scratch.

Copyright laws dictate both in EU and the US that I am the copyright holder at the moment of creation. But does using FL Studio bind me to something else (I have paid for the registered FL Studio and Sakura)?

Also, what do you recommend if I allow people to use my music as long as I'm credited. Something like Creative Commons?
