New Studio room has an exposed brick wall. Help.

My new studio room is small, square, with one of the walls being brick. There is a soft echo in the room, easily fixed by some foam I'm sure. However, I'm curious as to where I should be placing my speakers. Should I set up my Rockit 5's next to the brick, facing out? Or, perhaps, I should set up them up on the opposite wall, facing towards the brick; Or, just on a third wall with the brick on the side?

I guess I'm worried about the sound of my composition being altered by the brick. Hoping to get some opinions before I start setting everything up only to have to move it all afterword. I haven't yet got to do a whole lot of testing to see if it is even a problem at all. I'm thinking of facing them out from the brick and placing a good amount of foam on the wall that will be hit from the sound.

I'm always amazed how far people are willing to...
