Tempo automations are making everything extremely laggy

As in previous releases, this problem is still present. Seems even worse than before. Now even resizing a clip cuts completely the audio output and almost freezes FL untill I release the mouse button.
Muting, unmuting, editing automation points, copy/paste/delete clips, all these freeze the audio and make FL extremely laggy.
