To me it seems that the Freeze tracks/plugins to save Ram is not something on the list...or at the very least, like many points on the to do list, it is not clear if it is actually there or not...could it be this? : System - Improve freeze and unfreeze [#2622]....i don't know
There is a feature in the macro list to have plugins suspended that don't receive midi notation and don't output sound. It just enables a setting in the plugin host that is off by default. It's pretty good, but I guess you're asking for a different feature to disable a plugin from receiving and reacting to midi input altogether? There are the green buttons in the channel rack, but I think I remember that plugins kept receiving the midi notation even if it was turned off.. I'll have to try that again.
But that would be a good feature in addition to that macro.
What i had in mind was the highly requested feature that is basically like the smart disable but for Ram..so you just click on mute/freeze for a track on the playlist or in the pattern and the plugin and its samples are basically disabled/purged until you re-enable it again. (it could basically make you have a complete full movie score with everything loaded without having to have slaves pcs or let you have a giant template with every sample library you have all "loaded" in at all time)

And this are just the ones that i consider "big ones"...but therer are many other ones in this thread that are not on the to do list yet...but of course as i said earlier , i am glad that some of them are,i am glad that the "investigate" ones are even being investigated, and i hope, with threads like this one, to have even more on the list and more implemented...... because i am sure that, a lot of theses suggested features, a part from the video related ones, are good features, not only for "cinematic composing" purposes but for everyone, including EDM and Hip Hop producers.

I was extremely happy to see the integration of BRSO mentioned on the list. To me that has been the biggest struggle with working in FL, so things are clearly happening and there is a slightly higher priority for the scoring features on the minds of the developers. And I must say again, I'm happy that some very very important features are on that list. Not to say that the ones you mentioned are 'less important', though I do feel as though the ones on the list do feel to be sort of fundamental for the other stuff to even make sense. Not all of it, but some. Like the video features (they're essential to my work as well, so don't get me wrong on this) but if I had to choose between BRSO integration and video, I'd choose BRSO.
but yes, once that's done I wanna see the other stuff on the list too. It's only natural
To be honest, personally, i am pretty happy with how BRSO is right now.....will it be better with the integration? most likely, but even right now it is more powerful than Cubase Expression Map, so, it was never, again personally, the more pressing feature to get, the ones that are missing are the real problem in my opinion.

Quick Edit:
On second thought though, the "Investiage" does seem a bit scary I must say..
Indeed
but i do speculate that the "Investigate" is probably them trying to find out if those features are even possible without actually breaking everything, compared to the other ones in the list without the "investigate" tag, for which they probably have already an idea on how to implement into FL.
