Are the following things going to come to Playlist and Mixer in the near future?
Playlist:
1. Stretching the Playlist track headers horizontally and any other related changes. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=231741&p=1747209#p1716806
Also, it would be great to see a tiny bit faster way to rename stuff on Playlist track header (like double clicking with a pause on the name itself, like how we rename things in Windows without using F2) instead of current F2 or Shift-click method (which are of course useful currently).
2. Channel (instrument) VOL and PAN controls on Playlist track headers for instrument tracks, and if possible, also for audio tracks. viewtopic.php?f=100&t=276905&start=1850#p1779092
3. MIDI drag and drop directly to Playlist/Picker Panel to create a pattern clip for instrument tracks.
4. Select timeline region in Playlist and Piano Roll without selecting clips and notes respectively. There are currently 5 (five!) redundant commands that do the same thing, which is selecting timeline while selecting content: Only mouse right click, Ctrl + mouse left click, Shift + mouse left click, Shift + mouse right click, and Alt + mouse right click. Please assign one of these, preferable only mouse right click drag as the logical choice, to select timeline region while not selecting the content.
5. Option to colour time markers/regions (e.g. highlighting verse, chorus, etc. regions with color) in Playlist and Piano Roll.
6. Bonus: FL Studio windows layout management (locking and more custom layout options).
Mixer:
1. Ability to select multiple "effect slots", like how we select multiple Playlist/Mixer tracks.
2. Ability to do various operations with selected effect slots like drag and drop for copy-paste (to same or different Mixer tracks), mute, solo, etc. Similar to Playlist basically.
3. Working on multiple selected Mixer tracks, similar to Playlist. Currently, multiple selection of tracks in Mixer offers almost no advantage as most things don't work for multiple selected tracks.
4. Ability to reset/clear ONLY the plugins in the effect slots while retaining everything else.
5. Better metering on the Mixer tracks (see Pro Tools, for example).
6. Not sure if this would be applicable for the new Mixer, but if so, a thicker scroll bar at the bottom, similar to Playlist and Piano Roll, so that we can see it and grab it better. I mostly use mouse wheel for scrolling, but sometimes I tend to use the scroll bar and it is difficult to grab/spot it easily due to its very small size.
7. More Mixer tracks, which of course is known to everyone as planned for the new Mixer.
The above are the most important features for me.
