So I've been thinking about getting a desktop to use as both a second music production computer & cheap gaming rig. My budget for the computer is around $150. I was thinking of buying a Dell XPS 8300 cause I really like how the case looks & I can get one with 16GB of RAM & a Intel Core i7-2600 for around $150.
How would the Intel Core i7-2600 perform with FL Studio at 16-Bit/41Khz with about 20 to 30 various tracks & channels?
If there's anything better for the same price of around $150 that will work just as good?
