Hi,I need to add firewire 800 to my dell dimension 9200 computer so that I can attatch the new mackie sattelite audio interface that Im about to buy.
Im a bit confused as on ebay (uk) you can get cheap pci firewire cards for around £3.00,but Im pretty sure they are firewire 400 (1394 not 1394b).It seems that firewire 800 pci cards are upward of £40.00.This seems a big jump from the average £10 cost of a firewire 400 card.Am I missing something here?Does anyone know where I can get a firewire800 pci card for
cheaper than I have found?
Or is there another way to get firewire800 happening on my pc?
